“Staying grounded: The Liberal Arts and Life.” - During this lecture he will discuss the question are the liberal arts really useful? In this public convocation, he will argue that the liberal arts can provide an antidote to losing one’s way. Drawing especially on the ancient Greek philosophers, he will show how studying the liberal arts can help you stay grounded—both in business and in your personal life.
Born in Holland and raised in Europe and the United States, Anil Singh-Molares is a global citizen and business person. His education included a bachelor's degree in philosophy and a master's degree in Buddhism. Drawing on his liberal arts education, cross-cultural up bringing, and managerial skills, Singh-Molares advanced during 1991-2003 from managing a Microsoft foreign language team to overseeing all the company's internationalization vendor relations. He later founded and still serves as CEO of EchoMundi LLC, an international services firm that helps corporations do business abroad.
