Concordia's Center for Public Policy to Host Remembrance Presentation on The Legacy of John F. Kennedy

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Who: Concordia University Irvine | Tim Naftali, author of several books on John F. Kennedy including: John F. Kennedy, the Great Crises and One Hell of a Gamble: Khrushchev, Castro and Kennedy, 1958-1964. Naftali is also the former Executive Director of the Nixon Presidential Library for the National Archives and former professor at the University of Virginia. He holds a PhD from Harvard University.

What: Naftali will present a special program commemorating the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy’s death and focusing on Kennedy’s call to public service and his legacy today.

"Concordia is very proud to participate in the national remembrance of President Kennedy and specifically to focus on his call to public service that has been an inspiration to generations of Americans," said Keith Curry, Director of Concordia's Center for Public Policy. "His words are as important to today's young Americans as they were in the 1960's."
