Have you heard? WASC is coming!In 2010, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) invited Concordia to participate in a pilot study for its new accreditation process, and we accepted. In February 2013, we sent WASC our institutional report, and in May, our review team gave us their feedback on it. The team will visit our campus on March 26-28, 2014. To prepare for this pilot study we have created The WASC Games.* We know that it takes an entire campus to prepare for WASC Accreditation renewal so during the next three months, WASC-themed games will be offered to your department (a.k.a. “District”). Complete the games as a District and submit your entries to [email protected]. The winning District will be announced on Wednesday, March 19 at the Joint Faculty & Staff Meeting and will win $500. (HINT: Answers to The WASC Games can be found in the Institutional Report provided to WASC on February 28, 2013).
