(12/1/07 - Women's Volleyball) COLUMBIA, Mo. - For the second-straight season, the Concordia women's volleyball team advanced to the NAIA Tournament semifinals, only to have their dreams of a national championship dashed two wins away from their ultimate goal. This time around, #2-seeded California Baptist proved too tough for the third-seeded Eagles (30-6), posting a 30-23, 30-21, 30-18 win at the 28th Annual NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championships in The Arena at the Southwell Complex.

(11/30/07 - Women's Volleyball) COLUMBIA, Mo. - A strong service game and stifling blocking provided more than enough firepower to vault #3-seeded Concordia to a 30-17, 30-17, 30-18 win over sixth-seeded Lindenwood (Mo.), Friday evening in the quarterfinal round of the 28th Annual NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championships.

 (8/25/07 - Women's Volleyball) FRESNO - For the second-straight season, the Concordia volleyball team completed its trip to the Fresno Pacific Sunbird Invitational with a perfect record after picking up three-game wins over Holy Names and Concordia-Portland on Saturday.

(8/24/07 - Women's Volleyball) FRESNO - The 2007 season started anew on Friday afternoon for the #4-ranked Concordia women's volleyball team, but the location and result were strangely familiar. Juniors Stephanie Scheele and Traci Weamer combined for 22 kills as the Eagles opened up play at the Fresno Pacific Invitational with a 30-23, 30-13, 30-14 win over Oregon Tech.

From August 2-11, the Concordia women's volleyball team will be on a missions trip in Latin America while also playing several exhibition matches against the national teams of Nicaragua and Honduras. Each day, several team members will be recording their experiences and sending those back along with photos from their travels.

(7/17/07 - Women's Volleyball) Not to take anything away from their regular season performances, but the Concordia University women's volleyball team found a certain magic when it arrived in Columbia, Missouri last November for the NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship.
