Clark is also just one point from matching the career points mark of Carroll at 103 and will take over the top spot with his next goal.
Smith anchored the Concordia backline for the second-straight season and helped the team to an even better statistical season that the year prior. The Eagles have set season marks for shutouts (12) and a shutout streak that reached nearly 1,000 minutes as they recorded nine-straight clean sheets. Smith has also scored a pair of goals this season, both of which turned out to be game-winners.
Bickel moved back into the midfield and was a steadying presence for the Eagles both in attack and on defense. He tallied a pair of goals and added three assists for seven points while playing just in front of the defensive line. He also has a pair of game-winning goals to his credit, including a header to help run the Eagles to a 12-0 mark with a 1-0 win over Vanguard.
Mirzadeh rounds out the Concordia contingency as a mainstay at right back for the Eagles. He has started all 36 games of his Concordia career after playing two seasons at Cypress College and has registered a pair of goals and two assists. His only goal of this season was a crucial one as he blasted home the only goal of a 1-0 overtime win at California Baptist in the GSAC opener.
Concordia (14-2-0) is the #3 seed in the NAIA Region II Playoffs and will host 6th-seeded Point Loma Nazarene on Thursday, November 1 at 1:00 p.m. The two teams met last Thursday in Irvine with Clark providing the only goal in a 1-0 Concordia triumph.
