Brianna Vierra is New to the Area

Introduction - About Me

Hello, and greetings from a first year college student. My name is Brianna Vierra, and I’m from San Jose, California. Being a new student at Concordia University it was very hard for me to adjust to the atmosphere for this reason. Moving to Irvine has been one of the biggest changes I have ever experienced in life. I know sometimes it can be a shock when making a change, like moving to a new city, but I have come to realize that moving away to college wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be.  Making new friends who are in the same situation as me has helped me adjust in a comfortable way.

Living in Irvine gives me so many new opportunities not only on campus, but off campus too. I have already started exploring the beautiful, sunny area that surrounds me.

Through this blog I will be writing about the different areas where students can go out and experience dining, entertainment, outdoor activities, area churches, and much more. I hope that this blog helps new students go out and really take advantage of all the new places that you just can’t get back home.
