How has college transformed you?
Transformed? I think I am a work in progress! College prepared me for so many things. I had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and Asia which opened my eyes to being aware of different cultures, lives, foods… Religiously I grew as a Christian in college, which equipped me for my marriage, my life, and my relationships. My faith is my whole foundation. Lastly, the one on one personal attention at Concordia helped me learn about what kind of student I was and prepared me to further my education and I was encouraged to chase my dreams!

What advice would you give to prospective students?
Go where you feel the right fit is for you. Visit the colleges of your choice. Pray about it. I believe that God has a plan for you. There is something to learn from every experience that is placed in front of us.

How would you describe the atmosphere of Orange County, California?
Great weather and beautiful setting! Irvine is in the center of all kinds all kinds of activities! The beach is 15 minutes! I had a job in Laguna Beach when I was a student here. Snowboarding is 2 hours away. LA is 45 minutes (without traffic.) There is all kinds of shopping all around us. The Orange County Performing Arts Center is 15 minutes away!
