Before I came to Concordia, I had always known that I wanted to attend a Christian school. I wanted a place with values, and a foundation on the truth. The fact that it is a liberal arts university truly makes me feel that my education is well rounded. This is particularly important for me as a future elementary school teacher. After being well into my education coursework, I can honestly say that I know what God made me to do. I was made to be a teacher.
I feel that Concordia University has encompassed exactly what it set out to do.
I can see now that my gifts and talents are what makes me the person that I am today and in the future. After reading and hearing the terms "wise, honorable, and cultivated" many times, I can reflect on what they have meant to me in my college experience so far. I feel that Concordia University, as a liberal arts school, has encompassed exactly what it set out to do. I have not only grown in my faith, but I have gained knowledge and wisdom, and life skills that I can be proud of.
