Concordia has many opportunities for you to get involved, meet new people, and make a difference. Check out some of the Clubs and Activities offered here at CUI.

abbey west

abbey west is a movement of students on the campus of Concordia University Irvine who want to shed worn-out perceptions of what Christianity is all about.

Associated Students of Concordia University Irvine (ASCUI) 

The Associated Students of Concordia University Irvine (ASCUI), guided by the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, exists to express the student voice to the administration in the realms of student affairs, policies, and administrative decisions.

ASCUI Senate 

The Concordia University Irvine Board of Regents and the faculty are committed to include students within the policy-making functions of the University. ASCUI Senate is the primary voice of students in policy-making activities.

Black Student Union  

Black Student Union is more then just a club, it's a community. Being away from home and family is never easy, we strive to give students an outlet for anything they’re dealing with away in college. BSU is not about what ethnicity you are but your passion for helping others.

Civic Engagement 

Civic Engagement and Volunteerism is a vital part of our campus community in providing our students various opportunities throughout the year to serve in our local community and beyond.

Commuter Outreach 

Created to serve our commuter students and help them get connected to the campus community, Commuter Outreach will provide many fantastic events for our commuter students.

CUI Cheer Squad supports the Concordia community by promoting school spirit for sports, activities, clubs and school events.

Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity

Delta Sigma Pi exist to further enhance the education of business students by providing professional and service events as well as networking and potential job opportunities.

Fusion

Fusion is a leadership organization specifically designed for both freshmen and new transfer students that provides help and assistance to all other student leaders.

Habitat for Humanity

The Concordia University Irvine campus chapter has been set up to assist Habitat for Humanity by working with any local affiliate or with Habitat’s international headquarters in order to show the love and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Hawaiian Club

The Hawaiian Club at Concordia University Irvine eases the transition for students from Hawaii to Orange County, California. By coming together as an Ohana, we are dedicated in sharing the “Aloha spirit” with the Concordia Family.

Intramural Sports

CUI Intramurals is a great way to get involved with activities on campus, especially for new students. Currently, Intramurals is one of the most attended events on campus, and our numbers increase annually.

Lacrosse Club

The Lacrosse team is designed to build strong bonds while sharing the same common goal. We aim to have fun and improve our skills in the great game of lacrosse. Both men's and women's teams are available.

Live2Free

Live2Free exists to spread awareness of the cause and effect of human trafficking in Orange County and around the world.

Nuestra Voz

Nuestra Voz will focus on education of culture, concentrating on Latin and Native Americans. It will also provide opportunities to participate in and experience these cultures.

Paintball Club

Concordia Paintball Club is a newly founded club that provides a safe, fun, and exciting way to build skills and promote teamwork/leadership through the sport of paintball.

Peer Advising Leadership (PAL) Program

The Peer Advising Leadership Program is a unique ministry on campus as it embodies a Christ-like servant leadership philosophy. The PALs' primary motivation is a deep desire to help others through volunteering their service to the University and contributing positively to the new students' transition to Concordia.

Phi Delta Epsilon

Phi Delta Epsilon is an internationally recognized Honor Society started at Cornell University School of Medicine in 1904 and comprised of professional and pre-professional students in the health/science field.

Pi Mu Epsilon

The Math Club of Concordia University, in connection with Pi Mu Epsilon, provides service and encourages community for students of Concordia University and the greater area of Orange County, particularly in the areas of math awareness and education.

Republican Club

The Republican Club is designed to encourage and educate students about political awareness and is open to all political affiliations.

Rugby Club

The unique mental and physical demands of Rugby teaches the student-athlete vital lessons in teamwork, perseverance, performance under pressure, and leadership. Membership in the Rugby Club is an excellent complement to the outstanding academic classroom education provided at CUI.

Screaming Eagles

A Screaming Eagle is a fan of Concordia Athletics. Every student is a Screaming Eagle. We strive to pack the gym, crowd the field, and fill the bleachers at every sporting event.

S.I.F.E. (Students in Free Enterprise)

SIFE is "an international organization that mobilizes university students around the world to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders."

Sports Medicine Club

The Sports Medicine Club provides Concordia students who are interested in sports medicine the opportunity to volunteer in various philanthropy events and field trips to professional school programs.

Student Activities

The goal of the Student Activities committee is to serve the students by providing events that build relationships, excite the students, and promote community on campus.

Ultimate Frisbee Club

Our mission is to promote the sport of Ultimate Frisbee through competitive and enjoyable games. We are a group of students who love the game of Frisbee, hanging out with each other, and occasionally playing in tournaments but keeping to the "code": to have fun, play tough, and all for the glory of God.
