The Art Department at CUI offers students a rich artistic environment where they grow intellectually and spiritually as visual artists and designers. Visiting artists' exhibitions and lectures inspire students to understand the role of the professional artist and designer within society today. Art and Graphic Design majors exhibit their imagery in student exhibitions, which are held at the end of each semester. The John and Linda Friend permanent art collection and gallery fill the state-of-the-art Grimm Hall. Students also have the opportunity to work in conducive studio spaces and a Mac computer lab outside of class time. If you are interested in studying art or graphic design at a Christian liberal arts university, then Concordia University in Irvine, California is the right place for you.
