Concordia University
is pleased to announce the full accreditation of their Second Degree Accelerated
BSN program. The Commission
on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) announced in October 2009 that
Concordia’s Nursing program has fully met all CCNE accreditation standards.
Officially recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education, the CCNE is an
autonomous accrediting agency whose mission includes the assessment and
identification of nursing programs that engage in effective educational

Concordia University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), 985 Atlantic Avenue, Suite 100, Alameda, CA 94501, (510) 748-9797. Students and other interested parties may review accreditation documents by making a request to the Office of the Provost.
The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) on-site evaluation for Concordia University Division of Nursing will take place Monday, March 30 through Wednesday, April 1, 2009. Student, alumni, faculty and the practice community have the opportunity to submit input into the deliberation to the evaluation team assigned to Concordia University.
