What: Fall Festival of Hymns - "Where Charity and Love Prevail: There God is Found"

Dr. David Cherwien is the featured composer and organist for Concordia's annual Fall Hymn Fest. Currently serving as cantor at Mr. Olive Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, he is also the music director of the National Lutheran Choir, based in the Twin Cities. Cherwien's human festivals are renown for their creativity with innovative merging of organ, piano, instruments and voices, while bearing witness that music is a glorious gift from God.

The devotional writings of Susan Palo Cherwien will form an integral part of our festival. Recognized for her inspirational poetry and meaningful hymn texts, Susan will be reading selections from her acclaimed book Crossings: Meditations for Worship and From Glory to Glory: Reflections for Worship.
