(Irvine, Calif.) -- Concordia University Irvine’s Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration (MCAA) program is hosting the 3rd Annual California Coaches Conference (CCC) this summer on June 24 - 28th. Sport-specific intensive classes are offered in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, softball, soccer, volleyball, water polo, wrestling as well as speed, strength and conditioning. In addition, five keynote speakers will deliver compelling, topical discussions on vital issues.

CCC Speakers Include:

  • Dr. Gregory Dale, Duke University Director of Sport Psychology – “Developing the Credible Coach”
  • Scott Westering, Pacific Lutheran Head Football Coach – “Impacting the Lives of Your Athletes”
  • Dotsie Bausch, Olympic Silver Medalist – “Overcoming Barriers to Achieve Athletic Success”
  • Bill Fennelly, Iowa State Head Women’s Basketball Coach – “Building a Winning Team”
  • Bob Owens, Chapman Head Football Coach – “Leading for Athletic & Academic Excellence”

  • Basketball: Rainer Wulf, CIF Southern Section Assistant Commissioner for Basketball
  • Cross Country: Tim Butler, Dana Hills High School Head Coach

  • Soccer: Scott Juniper, Head Women’s Coach UC Irvine
  • Softball: Crystal Rosenthal, Concordia University Head Women’s Coach
  • Speed,Strength & Conditioning: Vern Gambetta, Nationally-Acclaimed Strength Expert
  • Volleyball: Tom Pestolesi, Irvine Valley Head Coach
  • Water Polo: Kristine Palle, CIF Southern Section Assistant Commissioner for Water Polo
  • Wrestling: Scott Glabb, Santa Ana High School Head Coach
