 United in Faith
Academic scholarship and Christian fellowship. Not your typical combination at most universities. School is Monday through Friday...and religion is reserved for Sunday, right? At Concordia, students live their faith not for one hour, one day, once a week. Here, we live our Christian faith as it is meant to be lived: through learning, service and leadership. There are so many ways to worship, study and serve the Lord at Concordia:
- Worship in chapel to share and reflect with your fellow students, professors and staff
- Prepare for church work by taking classes such as Christian Ethics and Family Ministry
- Participate in the Concordia Fellowship of Christian Athletes
- In Reach - join one of the Bible study groups on campus
- Out Reach - join in Beach Ministry, volunteer with the local Angel Tree Prison Fellowship Ministry program or travel down to Mexico to help families in need
- Go on a mission to Hungary with the Concert Choir or to Honduras to provide medical help to the Tolpan Indians
You can pray with your classmates and professors before class, or with your teammates and coach before a game. You can sing at Shout, the student-led worship service that meets every week at the Good Shepherd Chapel on campus. Worship. Pray. Serve. Shout! It's a way of life at Concordia.
