ATHLETICS
Assistant Tennis Coach (Part Time)

The assistant tennis coach will work with the Head Coach on strategic initiatives for the tennis program and with organizing the program, including planning and conducting regular practice sessions.  He/she is responsible for teaching the objectives of intercollegiate athletics, advise students both in their professional career and daily living and recruit students in accord with department, college and conference policy.  The assistant coach will work with the Athletic Director & Head Coach to prepare requisitions, budget requests and manage the expenditure of funds allocated and assist Head Coach with fundraising.The Assistant Coach is responsible for developing Christian character traits in every player and developing optimal physical fitness in each athlete.

Assistant Men's Baskeetball Coach

The assistant men's basketball coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in all facets of a successful intercollegiate basketball program within the framework of the mission of the university and the intercollegiate athletic program.  These include, however, are not limited to recruitment, academic monitoring, instruction and the spiritual development of all student-athletes.  All activities of this postion are ot make a contribution to the fulfullment of the mission of the university and the intercollegiate athletic department.  

CENTER FOR EXCELLENCE IN LEARNING AND TEACHING

Assistant/Associate Professor of Educational Technology

In addition to teaching in their area of expertise, the successful candidate would be responsible for working with and providing educational opportunities for faculty to develop skills in using good pedagogical principles in on-line teaching. Additionally, the candidate would conduct research and development into pedagogy and technology and maintain a resource center to enhance the teaching and learning experience.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
Client Workstation Engineer

The Client Workstation Engineer is responsible for the specification, acquisition, deployment and maintenance of client computing assets such as desktop and laptop computers and printers. The CWE ensures that campus IT users have the computing tools necessary to complete their tasks while maintaining system security and reliability.  The CWE is responsible for the operation of the ITS Services Help Desk and department and management.  Candidate should have a Bachelors degree or higher in technology field and two years experience in client workstation management. 

STUDENT AFFAIRS
Assistant Director of Residential Education - Selection and Training Coordinator

Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Students for Residential Education and Services, the Assistant Director has organizational and leadership responsibility for the department for selection and training of paraprofessional Resident Assistant and with the selection and training of all other departmental student staff.  In addition, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the supervision and evaluation of 1 Lead Resident Assistant and up to 8 Resident Assistants (RA’s) in a residence hall community of up to 244 primarily first year residents.  Job duties also include providing after-hours duty coverage and responding to emergencies for the entire residential community of up to 1,092; counseling and referring students, committee work within Residential Education and Services (RES) and with other Concordia offices; and working cooperatively with other campus departments such as Human Resources, Accounting, Campus Safety and Security, Admissions, Dining Services, the Wellness Center, and the Center for Student Leadership and Development.  As a part a team, he/she assists the Associate Dean in the overall Residential Education and Services departmental operation.   This is a full-time, 12-month, live-in, career position.  The successful candidate will have 1-2 years experience working in housing or residential life in a college/university community setting; Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required; Master’s degree in College Student Affairs, Administration, Counseling, or related field preferred; Experience working in a Christian liberal arts institution desirable.
