Concordia University Irvine Continues to Post Record Enrollments

Irvine, Calif. (September 23, 2013)— This Fall semester marked an enrollment milestone for Concordia University Irvine. According to the Fall census enrollment report, the university has set enrollment records across the board.

Concordia University Irvine President Kurt Krueger states, "Concordia University is pleased to have reached this significant milestone because it means that we are providing an excellent Christian education to so many fine students."

Fall 2013 enrollment highlights at Concordia University Irvine:

  • University enrollment: 4,046 (+15%) - which exceeds the previous record of 3,519 set in fall 2012.
  • Undergraduate enrollment: 1,608 (+9%)
  • Undergraduate admissions: 614 (+15%)
  • Graduate enrollment: 2,102 (+18%)
  • Adult degree programs enrollment: 324 (+20%)
  • English language learners (ESL): 12 (new program this year)

“It is amazing and humbling to see how God is working at Concordia University with these new enrollment records,” said Gary McDaniel, Chief Enrollment Officer at Concordia University Irvine. “A record new class of over 600, a total enrollment of over 1,600 undergraduates, and for the first time in the history of the institution, Concordia is now serving over 4,000 students!”
