Advertising on Campus
For outside parties or vendors who would like to advertise on our campus, we have the following guidelines:
- In order to post anything on Concordia’s campus, you will be required to follow the Advertising Guidelines:
- Flyers must be approved by the ASCUI Communications Director
The ASCUI Communications Director is located in the CSLD or can be reached at ascui.comm@cui.edu
- The number of flyers is limited to five
- All flyers must be stamped by the ASCUI Communications Director
- Flyers may only be posted on the kiosk outside of Grimm Student Union
- Flyers must be taken down within 24 hours of the event date posted
- If there is no end date on the flyer, it must be taken down in two weeks
- If you are advertising anything regarding housing (i.e. room for rent, roommates, etc.), please contact the Director of Housing Services, Davis Garton, at davis.garton@cui.edu
- If you are advertising anything for a church or ministry, please contact the Administrative Assistant to the Campus Pastor, Lisa Purcell, at lisa.purcell@cui.edu
- Since Concordia University has ministry programs on campus and established partnerships with local LCMS churches, any other Christian organization’s postings will be limited
- Outside vendors or organizations and handouts are not permitted on campus unless you have been invited by a department to do so
- Only students are permitted to hold meetings on campus or create clubs/organizations on campus unless you are leasing one of Concordia’s facilities
Additional Posting Guidelines
- No profanity, offensive material, or promoting or implying the illegal use of alcohol or drugs, or any violations of school policies/conduct codes.
- No spelling or grammatical errors
- Posters must be neat and professional (well organized, neat, legible handwriting, no crooked edges, no tape showing when posted)
- Once an advertisement has been approved, there may be no alterations or changes.
