Getting Involved
At Concordia University Irvine there are many ways for students to participate in campus life. A few ways to get involved include participating in residence hall activities, taking on a student leadership role within our Associated Students Concordia University Irvine (ASCUI), or by joining the RES team as a Resident Assistant. In addition to developing strong leaders, an on-campus movement known as abbey west is present to assist students in exploring, developing, and strengthening their faith and spirituality. Research suggests that students who live on-campus and are involved feel a closer tie to the campus and are more likely to persist to graduation (Astin, 1984). Therefore, we encourage our students to find a balance between their academic studies and the pursuit of getting involved on campus.
