Dian Vieselmeyer (Mrs. V)

Mrs. V earned a B.S. in elementary education and an M.A. as a reading specialist from Concordia Teachers' College in Seward, Nebraska. She has over 25 years of teaching experience in elementary, secondary and college level education. At CUI, Mrs. V developed the freshman program and academic support services for college students. From 1985 to 2004 she served as the Director of Academic Advising for over 2,500 students; most of which have been at her house for dinner at least once! In 2005, she became the Associate Dean and continues to serve as the Director of Academic Advising.

Jennifer Meyer graduated from Concordia University, Irvine in 1995 with a B.A. in Behavioral Science: Psychology. She began as an academic advisor at Concordia University immediately following graduation. She received her M.A. in Psychology at Pepperdine University in 1997. In 1999, she moved to St. Louis, MO, where she worked as an academic advisor for the St. Louis Community College district. In 2002, her family moved back to California and in 2003, she decided to return to Concordia and now serves as the Associate Director of Academic Advising. Concordia University will always be a place she can call home. She treasures the opportunity to assist students in achieving their academic goals, which will provide a lifetime of opportunities!
Ivana earned her B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine and her M.A. in Counseling from Chapman University. She moved to Washington, DC to work for a national non-profit foundation that is focused on implementing education initiatives throughout the country. Shortly thereafter she moved to Dallas, Texas to experience “southern living” and to assist in opening a regional office for the organization she was working for in DC. She spent several years traveling, living in different of parts of the country and even spent several months abroad. Ivana’s true passion lies in working with students and she is excited to have the opportunity to serve the students of Concordia.
After finishing a B.A. in Worship Arts at Hope International University in 2004, Tegan spent some time recruiting college students for a mortgage company, which sparked her interest in college Student Affairs. In 2009, she earned a Master's Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Student Affairs and School Counseling from California State University, Bakersfield. Her experiences in Career Counseling, Commuter Life, and Residence Life have brought her here to Concordia. Tegan enjoys talking with students about their academics, as well as their daily lives, interests, and goals. She also enjoys listening to the Concordia Wind Orchestra rehearse in the building next door while she works.

Hilary Falk joined the CUI Advising team in 2013. She earned her B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine in 2008. Upon graduating she worked in marketing and found that her true passion was helping others, especially assisting students develop Post-Secondary plans and career goals. Hilary made the decision to pursue her Master’s and received her M.A. in School Counseling, PPS Credential, from the University of San Diego in 2011. Prior to coming to CUI, she worked as a school counselor and interventionist at both the middle and high school level. She enjoys meeting with students and discussing their academic and future goals. She is thankful for the opportunity to work with the great student body and wonderful faculty and staff here at CUI.
