History and Political Thought
The History and Political Thought major endeavors to equip you to “see life steadily and see it whole.” The interdisciplinary nature of the courses required for this major attempts to look at the human experience both communally and individually and in both the past and present. The History and Political Thought major is approached from the liberal arts tradition of learning for the sake of learning. The courses cover a broad range of topics, generally include the works particular to the course subject, and have rigorous reading and writing expectations.
