Emphasis: Rehabilitation
Welcome to the ESS Department and thank you for your interest in Rehabilitation. Our mission at the Department of Exercise and Sport Science is to facilitate students to become effective therapists looking for professional fields in:
- Cardiac rehab
- Physical or Occupational Therapy
- Medical Support Staff
- Personal training
- Nonprofit organizations
- Clinical settings
- Fitness industries
This emphasis has a great deal of diversity and can be combined with another major or minor such as:
- Coaching
- Exercise science
- Athletic training
Several students go on to pursue advanced degrees in many of various areas previously listed.
