Alumni Testimonials
"The CUI School of Business is constantly creating innovative ways to encourage our learning in the ever changing field of business." Jennifer Powers '10
“At the Concordia School of Business I was given a hands-on experience and the opportunity to work with local businesses on multiple projects. This became one of the greatest differences in my education. Being able to come out of school with a portfolio has been a great asset to me as I seek out a career in the marketing field. The professors here have been one of the greatest influences in my education. It's hard to get lost in a classroom where the professor knows that you're absent and I have never had a professor refuse to help me outside of the classroom. In fact, most of my office hour visits not only answer my questions, but led to great conversations that broadened my knowledge regarding business and life. Students can develop relationships with faculty and staff that extend beyond their years at Concordia.” Jessica Schellentrager '09
"The School of Business at CUI provides students with a well-rounded education; they teach students not only how to be successful, but how to keep their morals, values and faith intact throughout their career." Amy Stockman '09
"The business program at Concordia is great because the professors really want to see you succeed and make themselves available after class, on the phone, and through email. They apply what they have learned out in the workplace to lessons in the classroom, and it is always nice to hear what we can expect when we graduate." Stephanie Scheele '09
"My experience with the School of Business has been great! I like the business school because all of the business classes are arranged so that students will graduate in the desired four years. Coming into Concordia as a business major automatically puts a student on pace to graduate on time. The business school also offers groups and activities for students to be a part of--for instance Sigma Beta Delta is the honors program and SIFE is Students In Free Enterprise. This allows students to use what they have learned and apply it to real life situations. Students are given a business situation that they will have to deal with and take their work to compete with other colleges across the country." Erika Dudoit '08
"The theories and ideas that I was taught throughout the marketing classes at Concordia University were absolutely fundamental and of great value for my performance in my internship." Felipe Stanford '08
"One of my favorite things about Concordia University is the fact that every teacher here has a one-on-one basis with each of their students, and they care about what is going on with us in and out of the classroom. You're not just another number on the attendance sheet." Ashley Robbins
"Concordia is a place to call home. The school has set forth for me all the tools necessary to achieve success both in the classroom and in life." Derek Bondo
