Professor Randall serves as the Director of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) and as an Assistant Professor of Instructional Design at Concordia University Irvine. The mission of CELT is to help students and professors more fully and efficiently use technology in their professions. This is accomplished through the CELT website (celt.cui.edu) and a physical location on our Irvine campus (Grimm Hall 206). He also teaches a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses related to technology including Sport, Information, and Educational Technology and is involved in the development of online education at the university.
Prior to Concordia, Professor Randall served as the technology coordinator for Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and School where he was responsible for staff and student technology development, implemented and administered the network and servers, the school database, the software for the library, the audio visual systems, and the point of sale system for the bookstore. He also has experience in the corporate world as computer trainer in network operating systems and end user applications. During this time he earned certifications as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Trainer.
