Program at a Glance
Academic degree program (MA degree) with Concordia University Irvine, a fully accredited private institution by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges

);
Concurrent China employment with full employment benefits (teaching English or teaching a subject of your strength in English) in a K-12 or college/university we partner with;
Cities to work at in China: Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Kunming and other nearby cities;
Three concentrations to choose from: International Business, International Education and International Development;
Accelerated program: 12-18 months to complete;
One summer semester on US campus, with the rest of the semesters in China;
Supervision and support from our university’s representative office in China;
TESOL certificate awarded upon successful course completion before going to China;
No prior Mandarin language skills required (but proficient Mandarin-speaking applicants have the chance to opt out of MAIS Mandarin course upon placement test result);
Cohort-based program that starts every June;
Field thesis research in China;

No GRE/GMAT required;
Dual MAIS/MBA degree available upon request;
