Alex Ackles

MCAA Program Coordinator

Alex Ackles was born and raised in Concord, Massachusetts. Alex graduated with a BA in Environmental Studies from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL in 1999. Following graduation Alex moved to Dallas, TX, for his first job, running recreational leagues with the Dallas Sport and Social Club. He then worked for a variety of professional soccer and baseball teams. In 2008, Alex received his Master's in Higher Education from the University of Redlands (Redlands, CA) where he attended classes while serving as the Graduate Assistant in Athletic Administration. Upon completion of the Master's and Graduate Assistant programs, Ackles accepted the position as Athletic Director and Physical Education teacher at Santa Clara High School in Oxnard, CA. Alex joined the MCAA team in January of 2011. He is a fan of all sports especially the New England Patriots, the Los Angeles Clippers, and collegiate lacrosse. Alex has a daughter Ava, a big fan of the X-Files.
