The University of Ghana is the premier university and one of Africa's most prestigious universities. The university is well-recognized as a center of excellence all over the world. The university was established more than 50 years ago and has trained more than 40,000 graduates who are at the helm of affairs in Ghana and many parts of the world. Currently the student population is about 30,000 with over 1,000 international students every year.

You will discover that the people are incredibly warm and the university offers you a lot in the way of learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. Over the years, the international students have come to love the institution and this unique country and have made it their second home.
