Constitution Day
September 17
In 2005 the Congress passed legislation "requiring each educational institution that receives federal funds for a fiscal year shall hold an educational program on the United States Constitution".
Constitution Day, this year observed on September 17th, commemorates the signing of the document on September 17th, 1787. The Financial Aid Office welcomes all Faculty, Staff and Students to review the historic text of the Constitution, to discover how the Constitution relates to more than 300 indexed topics from school prayer to civil rights or to search the text by the Supreme Court Decisions.
The National Constitution Center provides an Interactive Constitution. Please visit www.constitutioncenter.org/constitution.
