ECHO MEDIA GROUP NAMED AGENCY OF RECORD FOR
CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY IRVINE
TUSTIN, Calif. (Jan. 31, 2014) – Echo Media Group (Echo), an award-winning, results-oriented public relations and social media agency based in Tustin, Calif., announced today that it has been chosen as the agency of record for Concordia University Irvine (CUI). Echo will work directly with CUI’s current marketing and communications team to establish visibility and build brand awareness for CUI among targeted audiences through the implementation of media outreach programs.
“Concordia University Irvine is a premier institution that offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, nursing and adult bachelor’s degree completion programs,” said Kim Sherman, founder and managing principal of Echo Media Group. “We plan to help CUI break through the noise of competing colleges and universities in surrounding areas and earn it greater recognition as a leader in higher education. This University really is Southern California’s best kept secret, and Echo plans on letting everyone know about it.”
Concordia University Irvine is a distinct body that prepares students for their vocations through a variety of higher education degree programs. CUI empowers students through liberal arts and professional studies, service and leadership. CUI stands out among other universities in California because of its nationally-recognized Core Curriculum. The Core requires every undergraduate to take a series of mandatory classes in sequence so that professors can build a foundation of knowledge and create strong learning habits. The program challenges students to put their critical and creative thinking skills to work in order to develop intellectual habits through a linked course schedule that pairs certain courses together such as biology with theology or mathematics with philosophy. The Core has been carefully crafted to help students grow intellectually, ethically and spiritually.
Echo Media Group is tasked to create a full-service program that includes proactive media campaigns and expert source positioning, as well as media relations to promote the University’s rich history, high-caliber staff and distinct educational offerings. The platform for communication with media will serve to enhance University exposure on both a local and national level.
